Best video downloader/manager?

I'd like to download videos from sites like allmyvideos and beststreams. I once had a trial software that I forgot the name of that was a great video downloader, it let me download videos from most websites (not hulu) and it would pause it and restart it whenever I had internet issues. Anyways I forgot the name of it, so if anyone can help me with a similar type of good video downloading program that would be great. I use windows 7, and chrome or firefox for my browser.
