Huge Files taking up my space, what are they?

I have a pretty old computer. Well, really old. It's a 1.3ghz 128ram dinosaur, but it gets me by. I have Windows 2000 and recently my 37GB hard drive filled up. I freed up a little space but after doing some snooping i found these files that took up 33.5GB out of my 37. They were in C:/WINNT/cabs and their names were mybot.log.2007-w00, mybot.log.2007-w01, mybot.log.2007-w02, etc. etc. up to mybot.log.2007-w13. What are these files, what are they for, and can i delete their fat asses.

Generally speaking, any 'log' file can be safely removed; they are usually text files with a history of a particular program's activity... like some antivirus programs create a scan 'log' for example....
Try a right click on one of these log files, and open it with NotePad and see what's there....

EDIT: I just did a Google search for 'mybot.log' and there's a good chance that the files are malware related, part of a 'botnet' (robot network). Visit the malware removal forums and read/follow the stickies to be sure you don't have a nasty lurking in your PC.... or for more info, do a web search for mybot.log with your favorite search engine and see what you can learn....
