In anticipation of the release of Windows® 7 and Windows Server® 2008 R2, Microsoft wants to give companies and application developers a head start to ensure that their applications are compatible with these new releases. Microsoft has developed the ISV Compatibility Test and additional support resources to help companies get their application(s) approved. The benefits of this program reach the companies developing the applications, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 users who run online applications and the online communities where relevant conversations are happening.
