I'm having trouble with google chrome (as the title suggests). Each time i go to a different search engine (google, bing, yahoo etc.) i click on a link and BAM it redirects me! I downloaded HijackThis and had a log file returned. This is what it said:

Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.4
Scan saved at 17:54:07, on 09/05/2011
    Platform: Windows 7 (WinNT 6.00.3504)
    MSIE: Internet Explorer v9.00 (9.00.8112.16421)
    Boot mode: Normal

[EDIT by chaslang] Incomplete, inline HJT log info removed. Cleaning process not followed [/EDIT]

Which files need removing from my computer to solve this problem?

OK thanks. I tried using ATF cleaner and everything seems to be working fine. But I'm gonna keep an eye on google chrome for now and see if it starts redirecting me again. Thanks again! I'm definitely coming back here if I have any more problems! ^_^

I would really advise that you continue on, but you should at least run TDSSKiller and then attach the log for Chaslang.

    Yes indeed!!!!

ATF Cleaner is not a malware scanner or malware removal tool. It is just something used to cleanup unwanted temporary files ( garbage cleaner ). It would not have fixed a hijacker.

I ran TDSSKiller and this is the log file it produced. It should be attached to this reply

Okay that scan looks okay. It only detected you Daemon Tools driver.

Are you still having redirection problems? Make sure to try both Chrome and Internet Explorer to be sure.

I've tried it in Firefox, IE9, Safari and Chrome, my main web browser. I'm still having redirection problems. People at my school have been telling me that everybody's computer always does it and that its normal. But I know that's not the case because its the first time its started doing it to me on Windows 7. It did it on XP after about 2 years of me having it on my computer. I don't know if it's a flaw in the OS or what.

When you ran the instructions in this link >> Fixing Google Redirection/Hijacking Problems

Did you finish all of them? Earlier, all you said you ran was ATF Cleaner and all was good. We said it would not fix the problem. Did you reset your router to factory defaults as requested in step 2?

If you did everything in the above link and still have problems, please follow the instructions in the below link:

It appears then, that only your machine has malware - you need to follow chaslang's last instruction and attach the requested logs:
