In firefox on the bookmarks toolbar on some sites you get a little picture that comes up automaticly.

Some sites don't give you a little pic is there a way of putting one there yourself for the sites that don't have pics?

Try this extension, it is called favicon picker. You need to download it to you hard drive then install it through the extensions menu and once installed restart FireFox. When you find a page that doesn't have an icon you can right click on the link for that page, choose "properties" and go from there. Of course you will need to have some icons around to choose from. There are lots of places to get them. Try a google search or someone here will give some links.
