Ever since I bought my pc I've been having problems with it spontaneously restarting. I did some researching on my own and read somewhre to try turning off the Automatically restart on system failure under the start up and recovery tab of the my computer tab.

Shortly there after my computer when to do its normal sponataneuos restart except I got a blue screen detailed message saying,

"A problem has been detected and windows will be shut down to rpevent further damage...

blah blah check drivivers, new hardware.

    **Stop: 0X0000008F, 0XC0000005, 0X804E3242, 0XEFECFBA8, 0X00000000)

    Beginning dump of physical memory.
    Dump completed.
    Contact administrator.

Then I had to manually shut it off.

My computer is clear or all malware, spyware. I ran startr>run>sfc /scannow
and nothing appeared to be wrong. I have Windows Xp sp2. I havent added any new hardware or anything. Still all orginal store parts.

Can someone please help me. As you can imagine my computer restarting outta nowhere isnt very helpful when I'm trying to work and lose unsaved information.

    Thank You.

    No creative sound blaster live.

When i restarted windows today it said my computer has recovered from a serious error. So i send the report then a web page came up saying it was one of my drivers which what i obviously thought.

So I tired to think what I have installed. The only driver really that i have installed is the one for my Web Cam. When i installed it it said it may not be windows xp compatible then asked if i want to continue anyway.

I have unistalled that to see if it makes a difference. I'm sure I will still ahve the same problems.

    Any other suggestions?

Have you tried it in safe mode?? If everything is working ok at least you know it definately is a driver issue.

Well since I uninstalled my web cam driver I haven't had a restart yet. I guess I should have listened to the warning in the first place. Thank you for the help.
