sql database

Recently trying to clean off a server a database was deleted, before the delete a backup was made of it. After the database was restored, there was a excel document that used a vb button to refresh data, and now when you click it you get an error message.

could not find database id 13. database may not be activated yet or may be in transition.

also when you click debug the line it points you to is: rs.open sSQL, db, adOpenForwardOnly

This wouldn't be a problem with the vb, that hasnt been changed, what do i need to do with the database to get it working with this?

 

if anything with the server has changed, make sure the vb code has a connection string that reflects the changes.
