Question about security.

I recently had to start over on my PC. I am not positive but I think someone hacked in or maybe just came in while my back was turned and changed my password on my Admin account because all of a sudden I could not sign into it.

But anyway back to my question.... I have added....

COMODO FW

COMODO Antivirus

CCCleaner

Malwarebytes

SpywareBlaster

Iobit Uninstaller

For my Security. Would it be a bad idea to add anything else? Like Iobit Advanced Security or their Malware scanner?

Just trying to make my PC secure enough to be safe.

Your security software is adequate.
Consider locking your PC. Have a look at the following free programs.

Predator.

As my home PC is only used by me, I don't have a use for either program. However, I did test Predator about a year ago. As I remember, you can/should also set a password in case the usb flash drive is lost or damaged.

 

Well it locked me out lol. So I booted into Safe Mode and disabled it and removed it after reboot. It wanted me to input my password to reenter my PC BUT.....the kicker.......It had disabled my keyboard LMBO roflmao sooooo I guess I will just go with Windows passwords for now but will keep track of who gets near my PC.

While I have not tried Lock My PC, it seems Predator is the more secure option.

Thank you Eldon I will think about the 2nd option. That one sounds like it is at least possible to get in if I lose my key. LOL roflmao
