When I do scans with adawareSE there is a scan for Neligible items. What is that and should they be deleted or just left alone??

They are just minor things. Many of the items find here will most likely be MRU's (Most Recently Used) items that are scattered all over the registry. They are not needed and some people want them deleted because they show tracks of what you have been doing & and where you have been going. You can remove them but you will loose history lists when you do. Turning this option on (which may be the default...I forget) can make scans take longer and for some people they have even had problems completing scans.

When you go to start a scan it will say "Select a Scan Mode" and there are four choices with little circles in front -- chose one.

Below is a rectangular box with a circle "Search for Negligible Risk Entries" -- I always have this with a Red circle and an X through it ("unchecked" in other words). It's not worth the time and doesn't need to be done like Chas said.

Thanks so much for the reply I do know how to turn it on and off I just didn't know if it was a necessary part of the scan and since its not I will turn it off.
Thanks again and have a great day..
