We just started using an Intranet IM at work called Message Pal (www.messagepal.com) and since I am the one who has been figuring it out and showing everyone how to tweak it to work for them, I was thinking I should ask about it here too.

Wondering if anyone has tried this system before or has been subjected to it at work. I think it is a great office tool, it cuts down on the yelling across the room and getting up to ask the supervisor a question. The nice thing is that it is local only, (hence Intranet IM) and doesn't need a server. They say that there is no spyware of any type on there, and I haven't noticed anything at work yet, but figured what the heck.

Looking for any input on this proggie, positive, negative or indifferent.

Thanks ahead of time fellow geeks.
