I have an iPAQ 5550 and I need a good cellphone to go with it. Bluetooth is a must (I need to be able to connect to the internet from my iPAQ using the phone) and any other features (especially a camera for video and photo) would be really useful. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    So far I'm looking at:
    nokia 6820
    samsung d410
    motorola v600
    ericsson p800, t630, t610

I'm probably looking for something in the $200 range. but if something really good is more expensive, I'll probably reconsider.

I'm using a t610. I have no problems. Bluetooth works great. Good camera too, and the screen is fantastic. I don't know about the price, but it's probably not that pricey as it's been around for a while now. (we'll in the UK at least..)

One of the smallest phones avaible.
IMO= sound quality OK But volume low, when set to highest level I can hardly hear
    I'm not an Ericsson Fan
    Cost was around $200

You need to check what plan to buy as well as the phone. If you want data, and pics, and travel- you would want Sprint. If you are not travelling, you may want another carrier. Any data plan would come with a free phone.

would the plan I get allow a range of cellhphones to get? would bluetooth/video/data be available?

is there a place i can look at and compare plans (and the cellphones that go with them)?

Just a thought but - remember you need the phone as a phone too. I use the Ericsson t610 to bluetooth with my axim - which is nice - but - the Ericsson layout/menu system is - in my view - significanly worse than the Nokia I used to have.

The other thing is the camera - which works fine but lets be realistic - its really just a gimmick. No video no the t610 btw.

    Companies in the field

    Nextel
    Verizon
    Att/Cingular
    Sprint
    T-Mobile
    Us Cellular

all have websites. I don't know who you have in your area....

I have had coverage or have sold plans for all the above.

There are pro and con websites for each as well.

I HATE my current phone. It will disappear quicker than my car, which is leased......

I think it's very likely I'll end up with Verizon seeing that most of the family has it. What does that narrow down my choices to?
