Sorry, for the life of me I couldn't figure out how else to save the Avast log so I simply screenshot it. I'm also not sure why there are two RK logs.

I think this black window going on and off is driving me insane.

Your logs are clean. What Avast shows are valid Windows file:
    Code:
rdpudd.dll - Microsoft RDP Display Driver
rdpvideominiport.sys - Microsoft RDP Video Miniport driver
Which name is? You said winauclt.exe in your thread title and now you are saying wuauclt.exe. wuauclt.exe is Windows Update and it is not showing as running in your logs.

Hi sorry about that. It's wuauclt...although I'm trying to make sure now, but the window flashes too fast to read. I was able to read it last night when it stopped for a little longer than the half second it's doing now. I should say that ONE time I was able to click the X and I was redirected to some website with advertising... not sure because I quickly closed it.

It may just be from something you have running as it does not appear to be malware. Does it happen if you boot your PC in safe mode?

Oh and if I had to guess... I would say it is likely one of the below from Acer.

Could it be MyWinlocker Suite? I don't know how this got on my netbook. My nephew installed his wireless Canon printer so I could print when I visited him. I just closed all the Canon applications.

Not sure how to start in Safe Mode.

I uninstalled the WinLocker and restarted, but the black window appeared again! This time however, the window stays up and I get a small window saying "NTVDM.EXE has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify yuo if a solution is available." I click on Close Program... but then a few seconds later it starts all over again (black window then NTVDM window).

Hi again....sorry for the delay. Ok I started in safe mode and no sign of that dreaded black window. (I opened Internet Explorer and it wasn't connected). Then I started normally and again I get the black window and then "ntvdm.exe has stopped working". It may have something to do with the Canon wireless printer program. I'm trying to figure out how to disable it from starting without uninstalling the whole program.

Hi again... I did a system restore to before the Canon was installed and so far so good. Thanks for your help!

You're welcome. Glad to hear you fixed your problem.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no protection. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Press and hold the Windows key [IMG] and then press the letter R on your keyboard. This opens the Run dialog box.
      • Copy and paste the below into the Run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /uninstall
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /uninstall, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
    3. Go back to step 6 oof the READ ME and renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it.
    4. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    5. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    6. If running Vista or Win 7, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    7. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    8. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders
related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    9. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
