How to reactivate (?) ActiveX in Windows XP

    I used one of the links on this site to "clean-up" Windows XP and chose to deactivate ActiveX. Now realize that was not a good decision. How do I get it going again?
    Also, my son set up the Windows XP with him as the main user and me with limited use. Do we have to reinstall XP to switch that set up?

    goto tools>internet options>security

    highlight the internet icon then tick the button "custom level" you should get a "security settings" pop up .. either tick "reset" to medium or however high you want it or change the individual settings as you like
