audio drivers for media cente 2005 motherboard ms-7046 ver1

hi guys been looking everywhere for this driver hoping you can help..

If this is a XP or Windows 2000 computer, I believe you will find this to be the correct driver

that doesnt seem too work it shows up ok in device manager but in control panel it says no audio device added.. is it because i am xp media centre or does that not make a difference..

 

The first thing I would try would be to check to make sure your Windows Audio Service is running.
Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Component Services>Services (local)
Make certain that it is set to "Automatic" in Startup Type and "Running" in Status.

What are the entries in your Device Manager under Sound Video and Game Controllers?
Is CMedia listed?

 

it wont change to running it only changes to started...

in device manager it says

audio codecs
nvtv
legency audio
unimodern half-display audio device..

i am looking for the 82801FB ICH6 audio driver i think doing my head in cheers for help
