I have seen lots of programs using a different theme for XP, rather than blue it has a brushed metal finish to the borders of the windows. Where can I find this and what is it called?

    thanks,

    Thanks for all the info.

I dont really want to shell out any cash so I've managed to find the effect I wanted by simply adjusting control panel-> display-> appearance ->colour scheme->silver. I used to like XP blue (who wouldn't after years of navy grey win '98) but just fancy a small change! I may try out styleXP in the future sometime when I get bored of this colour scheme.

My earlier suggestion (Belchfire) has instructions on how to install non-Microsoft themes for free. It's not as easy as StyleXP, but it is not too involved. http://themes.belchfire.net/index.php?act=announce&f=2&id=3
