Can a deleted BIOS from a botched upgrade attempt be restored?

I have 2 GA-5AX Gigabyte mainboards, a 300MHZ and a 500MHz one, and the BIOS was wiped out when during a routine web based BIOS upgrade went bad. The download stopped halfway through and the system locked and when I attempted to reboot is when I found out that the BIOS had been wiped clean. Is there any way to restore it?

I have been able to restore BIOS by removing the motherboard's battery for 30 secs to 1 min. and reinserting the battery.
    This usually resets the bios.
