I have a Seagate 250 gig. HD that I'm trying to set up so my OS is on one partition, and have 3 other partitions to use for different things. I Partitioned it into 4 partitions,2 of the partitions are not large enough.
I don't have anything on the HD but the OS.
Can I resize the partitions with formating or will I need to get a program like Partition Magicconfused . Like I said I have nothing on this HD I need to save.
    Thanks in advance Chuck
Any advice on what is the best size for each of the partitions (4 in all). In mega bytes, not gigs I get confused.confused :major ????/ DUH!

Yes you can resize partitions with Partition Magic without having to reinstall everything.

Cant answer best sizes, because it depends on what you need to store. You really need to do some math to leave plenty of room for each partition.

Our drive utility section has some free partitioning utilities.

I guess getting the partition for the OS large enough is my biggest concern.I would like to keep everything else on different partitions witch I can divide into 2or 3 equal parts.
