Can I trash a .DLL file?

Discussion in 'Software' started by Can't come up with any, Oct 8, 2005.

  1. Hi guys,
I noticed recently that I had a file called GDIPlus.dll on my comp. I was wondering, I could delete without having windows tell me "MISSIND DLL" or something of that nature. It doesn't seem to do anything. Actually, I first thought it was a leftover file from Gladiator Antivirus that I tried a looooooong time ago (A second AV to scan once and a while). I figured I'd google it, turns out some websites make it seem like it's some type of virus. Does anybody have more info. I could use.

    Thanks.
