creative x-fi detection problem

    ok i just bought a creative x-fi. the problem is my asus a8n-sli premium mobo is refusing to detect it. i updated the BIOS, but that didnt solve it. i tried all three PCI slots but that didnt work. bear in mind ppl that the card does work. i tried the card in my friends PC and it was detected with no problems. any help? i know there are issues with creative x-fi and nforce4 based motherboards. btw i have the creative x-fi xtrememusic version.
