how do i see what fps my games are at when playing

is there software out there that i can see what fps i am runnning at

 

what games you play? Games have commands you enter to see your fps.

nice piece of software ran it got 70 fps on cs

 

console commands for counter-strike.

net_graph 3
net_graphpos 2 (to make the graph appear in the bottom middle of the screen)

 

cl_showfps 1 shows it in the upper left hand corner... that's the one I use
net_graph 1 (2, 3, or 4) puts a graph in lower right hand corner

btw, what kind of video card do you have?
