Network Adapter

    I assume that I would only need to enable my network adaptor if I needed to allow another computer into mine, was on an intranet, or used a lan line. Is this a correct assumption?

    You have to enable your network adapter if you are using DSL or CATV Broadband in order to get online.

    Otherwise, if there is no cable connected, you can leave alone and not disable it.
