shell overlay cashe server jammed -help

    message comes up saying " shell overlay icon cache has to close ..."
    but when I close it it comes back again and again.
    The message has the mark "SOS" and it might have to do with my Major Geeks back up as the back up has a problem and is not working right.
    Would re-loading the backup help? Your advise is eagarly awaited.:)
    as my computer is close to inoperable and I tried all I could think of.
