hey, i just upgraded my pc from 500MB RAM, PC2700 i think (unknown manufacturer) to 3GB PC3200, removing the original RAM that was in there, as recommended by crucial's memory tester thing

now everytime i turn on the computer, it logs me in, then about 10 seconds later I get a blue screen of death

anything i need to do to get it working? or any kind of troubleshooting you recommend?

    OS - XP
    MOBO - MSI KT4 Ultra
    New RAM - http://crucial.com/uk/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=B7223977A5CA7304
    any other information required?

    thanks :)

take one out try it if it still happens alternate them, you could have a bad bar even though it's new memory.

or give this a try- http://www.memtest.org/

    all cards work fine individually,

but it seems to be that I only get the screen when I have all 3 of the cards installed

is there any reason why this could be happening?
