Linux V/s Windows

    I am using ACER Aspire 570D with windows 7. It is not working properly and the speed is slow. I am considering to shift to Linux.
    1. Which one is better for the netbook, win 7, win 8.1 or any linux bases OS?
    2. Whether increasing RAM will help. The present system is having 2 GB DDR3 RAM. Can it be increased to 4 GB?
    3. What about Cache? Can it be also increased/ improved?

    The 64-bit architecture of your laptop will support up to 8 GB of RAM.

    You say it's not working properly and is slow. Several things can contribute to the issue. Could you please be more specific about the problems you're having?
