who has the best antivirus?

    I would like to know who out there has the best antivirus. I have NOrton right now and since then I have had 3 viruses. If I had to equate Norton antivirus with a real-world instance, it would be the security guard in a jewelery store sitting on a bar stool by the front door, sleeping. I am not happy at all. Freeware would be nice but I will explore and research all options.
