classic view excel 2007

    I have upgraded to Office 2007, and need to know how to change to original/classic view of Excel, I assume this can be done!
    How horrible is the new format?!?!

    Nope, its not an option in Office 2007 to have classic views as in Office 2003 etc, this is by design. I like the new format its easier to use, once you give it a few weeks, very logical approach, if yo udont like Office 2007 I would return it and use your previous Office if your happier with that layout.


    You can get this app for $30 http://www.addintools.com/ which will change the layout to classic menus... I have no idea if this can be done via windows and the registry, I doubt it as they most likely have created a skin for office to add back the classic menus

    Excel DOES let you change the start up folder/template open excel help type in start up folder and search.
    And your tool bars.
    BUT if you are looking for classic-right click on your task bar click properties and choose the windows classic view HOWEVER this changes everything.

    Thanks for your input, but unfortunately I have tried to do what you suggest, but can't seem to do it. Please use punctuation, as it is very difficult to understand what you mean.
    I am looking to change excel 2007 to the menu structure of excel 2003, so that I can use it!!
