Computer wont start

into the a new case and still had the same problem.
Went out and got a 300w power supply to replace the 350 that was in there. and now it gets power but when I turn it on the computer deosn't start right at all,
The monitor stays black with that little menu (the one to adjust the screen color and so on) and it does nothing else. So with this I am thinking it is the hard drive and for some reason it isn't starting.
So please help me please, any help would be great. Her info is ---



Asus p4s8x motherboard
ati 9800 pro
audigy 5.1
512mb pc3200 memory
160gig hard drive.

 

If your receiving that menu ----are you sure the video cardor on board is hooked up, monitor cable is good .Sounds like your monitor is not receiving a signal.
