Slower Computer and Internet connection

I've been experiencing some clear internet slow downs, something from 3.10 mbps to 0.23 mbps, which I found really odd since my connection has always been really stable.
I (foolishly) downloaded the opinionsquare and nielse digital pannel sotfware, wich are survey site's software made to track what you buy online (I think so). I made this to get some points at some survey site because I thought I could simply unninstall them later on after I got my points. That's what I did, but strangely my connection dropped and I started experiencing major lag issues on online games. I also saw viewpoint media or something on my programs list but I've unninstalled it.

I first downloaded "exterminate it!" software, which reported a lot of tracking cookies and this:

Name: "Bancos" Type: "downloader, hacker tool, trojan, spyware"
After that I found this forums and ran the READ ME FIRST thing.
    I'll post the logs.

    Last log file.

Oh, and that's the reg infected with the "bancos" thing, as shown by exterminate it:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\ext\settings\{c41a1c0e-ea6c-11d4-b1b8-444553540000}

I read a little about that tool, and people say it gives a lot of F/P's. Can I trust it's results?

Please disable all anti-virus and anti-spyware programs while we do the following (re-enable when you are finished):

Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    After clicking Fix exit HJT.

Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.

Make sure that you tell me if you receive a success message about adding the above
to the registry. If you do not get a success message, it definitely did not work.

In answer to your question regarding exterminate! detecting
I see the below line also in your hijackthis log:
    Is this something you use?

Let me know. I am not seeing any malware in your logs.

    Thanks for the reply.
I've done everything you told me to do. About fixing and adding the registry entries, I got a success message after I did it. That's good right?
Can you explain me exactly what did that do? Why did you ask me to remove those reg's and then add them back?

    About the Bancos thing:
Banco do Brasil means Bank of Brasil, which my father uses on my pc sometimes. I researched a little about those files and found out that that file belongs to a security tool used by that bank. That folder was supposed to have 5 files. My folder has only 4, missing only the executable file.
I'm not sure if some of the antimalware programs I executed deleted that file as a F/P or a malware managed to delete it. I'm betting on the first one though. Can a malware have infected that file, used it to bypass somehow the bank plugin's defense, or something? Sorry about all the questions (and probably wasting your time), I'm a little worried about my banking info.

    You're welcome.

    Yes.
I removed them because they were dead Browser helper objects. I did NOT add them back.

I do not know why you have an .exe file missing for Banco de Brasil. But it does not look like any of the scans removed it. Perhaps your Father could re-install the software. But this is not subject for the malware forum, and you should ask about this in software if you need to. I am not seeing any malware in your logs and I think it's time to follow final steps.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no protection. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /uninstall
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /uninstall, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
    3. Go back to step 6 of the READ ME and renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it.
    4. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    5. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    6. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    7. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    8. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders
related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    9. If you are running Win 7, Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning procedures pointed to by step 7 of the READ ME
for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    10. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
