What is the normal life span for a Hard Drive.

I herd it's like 5-7 Years if you got a good drive. What do you say?

Of course it's going to be lower due to your usage.

IMHO there is no "normal" life span. I've seen some REALLY old hard drives that still work fine: drives from the Windows 3.1 days over 15 years old. I have also seen drives fail after 6 months. I'd say the average life span is about 6 years as you stated, but that doesn't mean it's 'normal'. The words 'normal' and 'average' are not necessarily the same....

    LOL

That's a tough question, once they last through the first month, they're mostly good for 3-8 years (some *ujitu's and *bm's from a few years ago used to start falling off the perch at around 12 months old).
