internet explorer won't work

I had the Ask.com bar problem and worked through the remove malware steps with one of your specialists. Malware was removed and logs are clean, but I cannot use IE 11.

I have used Tweaking.com and still the problem. It will not work in Safe mode with networking, either.

Also, I flushed the restore points and did not realize the reimage partition was in the Restore section, so that was flushed, as well.

Can IE be completely removed and reinstalled? Any ideas?

 

You can uninstall IE11 in Win 7

Once you are sure 10 is working, update to 11.

 

I have reimaged the machine to factory settings and tried ie9, 10 and 11. It is still doing the same thing.

 

Sorry, if IE is broken from a factory reset, I don't know what to tell you to do.
