Battlefield 2 Demo

Well the demo is released. Anyone tried it out yet??????????????

so tired! *yawn* lol

Its friggen fantastic, the tanks the helo's , group of 5-6 soldiers paradropping from the transport helo, the planes engine when it fly's by and its too late to dodge that big bomb comin at ya! Just friggen fantastic and immersive.

Hell, I remember when i grabbed the transport helo and 4 ppl mount up and im like "hmmm i'll try the 3rd person view instead" *takes off spins backwards into the water kills everyone but himself because he parachutes in*

There are some bugs, I got an infinite sound loop and the game CTD'd, the small buggys make a huge box shadow that flickers constantly too... other then that im a-o-k


Running the game 16x12 max details with shadows off because of bug.

Was smooth as butter on all high detail for me, Amazing game, Hope the real game plays as well though.

 

So nice. The changes they have made make a world of differences. Havent had any bugs yet but then again Ive only played for 6 or so hours. Anyone know when the preorders are suppose to arrive??

 

Mine crashed once for 3 hours playing just now, using a 64mb Radeon 9000 and works fine, an upgrade wouldn't hurt though
But yeh it's absolutely amazing, the time limit is just a bummer!

 

Wow it plays with only 64 MB, that's insane.

 

Plays fine for me. I installed those 77.30 drivers that came with the demo & the huge shadow box went away, also fixed a major lag bomb I was getting around the "gas station".

 

Yeh I know it's great, no lagging at all. Just wonder how it'll run when I upgrade my card hehe!!

Is anyone having trouble finding a fast-ish server that's not full up? Me and some friends are looking for one!
