The next OS will supposedly launch sometime in the next four years, which lines up with the expected 2014-or-later arrival of the next-generation Xbox. The move would also vibe with comments made at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference earlier this week, where Windows Phone division president Andy Lees said that the company is looking to create “a single ecosystem” for its products. Other changes that might seem subtle to more sophisticated information workers, such as the new taskbar, also confused. Paul Shane, IT director at the Philadelphia office of Milliman Inc., said that as he rolled out Windows 7 in the enterprise last year, many users even had trouble navigating the new Start menu. The truth is, there was no security camera that captured such a video, at least as far as we know thus far. So if you see the following message on Facebook (pictured below): “[Video] OSLO Security Camera Captures Blast!”, don’t click on it, delete it from your Facebook feed, and report it to Facebook security. RKill is a program that was developed at BleepingComputer.com that attempts to terminate known malware processes so that your normal security software can then run and clean your computer of infections. RogueKiller is a tool written in C, which scans the processes running, and kill those who are malicious. I developed this tool after seeing that some rogues (eg Security Tools) blocked the execution of disinfection programs, and some programs (eg Rkill) appeared ineffective in killing the rogue process.
