There are some famous photographs of gruesome scenes. They are also considered art.
Art is not always pretty. This is crazy. Would I do something like this, no. Is it art? Yes. Would anyone be appalled, if this was a toy stuffed animal? NO. That's where his artist self, wins out. Your reactions to it,are probally the exact reactions, he wanted from this piece of art.

Crazy Dutch!! Disgusting!!!!
 Many years ago a Dutch psychiatrist put himself on a platform in a museum and declared himself a piece of art.  There used to be government subsidies for art at that time. Not sure if that's the case now.

Now that I have that bizarre image of that cat's look burned into my brain.
I think this would be extremely funny. Imagine, looking out a window and zoom, Here's kitty!  But I would prefer a life-like fake, not an old friend. And don't get me wrong, I think it's disgusting too, but..... on the other hand, Zooooooom, there goes Kitty..

Ah well, I guess a Puddy-tat helicopter is a little better than a CATapult.
 Yeah, you get all sorts of weird stuff happening, as said, mostly for the so-called 'arts grants'. Had a young couple posing naked, spayed completely in silver paint, posing on a busy city mall, calling it 'art'. ~ Whatever, dudes  . I just call it insanity, i.m.o.@ Glooz:- When I was in Stockholm, there was an entire 'Scatology' museum dedicated to turds, (literally). This aint art. Come-on, man.
