    Hey All,

Here I am, going through all that Major Geeks has to offer for a walkthrough on how to remove malware and other unwanted computer pests...and I am at that point where i need a little help with my HJT log and the other 2-3 logs i was told to save and post

Now I hope I did this right or I will have alot of Angry people at me for wasting their time, but just remember I did what they said so i should have no problem...right?...

Anyways a little help would go along way and I want to thank you all for your time!

p.s The symptoms of my computer is pretty basic which caused my malware suspicion... C: Drive memory is getting eaten up!...and I have bare bones for programs.
    Thanks:)

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

You need to attach the other logs requested in the READ ME.

    - PandaActiveScan
    - ShowNew

Do you have any backup utiltity software installed that could be creating hidden folders/partitions to save backups? Your problems do not sound like malware. Are you sure that you are not just using all of your hard disk space for Bit Torrent downloads?

You only have one malware item to delete: C:\WINDOWS\NDNuninstall6_98.exe
But it is not the cause of your problem!

Your problem is not malware. It is probably due to backup software you are running as I said previously. For example, check out what the Sony Vaio stuff is doing. Like

    VAIOSurvey - c:\program files\sony\vaio survey\surveysa.exe
    VAIO Recovery - C:\WINDOWS\Sonysys\VAIO Recovery\PartSeal.exe

    Also the below junk!
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ZTgServerSwitch] "c:\program files\support.com\client\bin\tgcmd.exe" /server

Also you never clearly defined what you mean by
And it is hard disk space. Not memory. How much is it changing and when do you notice it changing. Each time you reboot another restore point is also created by the Windows OS which will use disk space too.

    You're welcome!

In this day and age, only having 808 MB free is not a good thing! What is your total hard disk size for drive C?

sorry for the lack of response but total is an odd number 13.9 GB! and now i have 1.7 gb free from cleaning some other accounts on here as well...but still, for having just the programs the computer needs to ...well...LIVE...on C: its not alot :S

as well... I have a 90 GB D: Drive thats experiencing no problems and that has all of our personal documents and such there so that the C: is not being wasted...

    Download and install this Overdisk

Use it to see what is using your diskspace. When you hold the mouse over the various graphics represent space used, you will see exactly where the hogs are. And if you click on a section, it will take to that folder with a new graphic that breaks down the file use in that folder
