Hi to run through your log and assist in removing any malware we will need you to follow the below guide to our standard cleaning procedures,

I do have to ask why do you have two antivirus applications running in AVG and AVAST? you will need to remove one as your PC will slowdown as both scanners are trying to scan the same files, plus having two AVs running live/resident can cause all sorts of issues.

What sort of issues are you having popups, mis-directing websites etc?

DO please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

Do install Hijackthis in the correct location we require an not this location C:\Documents and Settings\Kris Reed\My Documents\HijackThis.exe

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
    • Bitdefender
    • Panda Scan
    • HijackThis

Looked through and see no problems at all, but I do have suggestions outside of malware.

Looks like a memory optimizing program running. They dont really work. Buy more ram if you need it, you will love it.

Dont see a firewall running, at least turn on Windows Firewall.

    Hello All,

    @Halo
A’ hem well first I’m not having any trouble I just wanted someone to check the logs. Just wanted to see if you can find anything that looks out of place or wrong.
Second I run only AVAST with full protection. AVG is there as second scanner because there are things that AVAST don’t pick up that AVG does and vice versa. I Ran all those scans in the stickys but I did not save a log because it found nothing on any of those...Plus I don’t trust online scans anyway… I think it a little unsafe.

    @ Major Attitude
The Ram Freer you saw I deleted because when I scanned my computer, AVG said that it had a Trojan.Dowloader in it ...Even though I downloaded it off Majorgeeks.com.

And my Windows firewall is ON ....I don’t know what you are talking about?

So in conclusion I have no problems just need to see, I have 2 Anti-virus just to make sure I’m clean (And I will never delete any of them), I DID all the scans that I was told and I didn’t see anything in those that looked wrong, I got rid of the Optimizer because it had a Trojan in it, and my windows firewall is on (And always is ON)

Here is a new LOG. As you will see i moved it to where you toldme.

    Don't see any malware issues.

Halo is correct. You should never have 2 resident Antivirus programs installed on your computer; even if you have disabled one of them. They will conflict with each other. As your log clearly shows processes from AVG are running. If you need a second AV scanner; then use one of the online scanners as a backup.

The version of Java installed on your computer is out-dated. Update to the latest version of Java.
