Windows update fake?

    I can't seem to find this anywhere, I think a virus planted itself there and possibly to other updates. I've seen the software update forum and its not there either, without doing any tests can this be verified so I don't have to worry?

    Looks legit to me. It's a patch/update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1
    Check in Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> From this list look for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1
