Hello, I am running XP Home and am a novice pc user who has a question about some startup entries that I discovered one day after open the msconfig utility. The entries aren't even in English type, which made me sort of suspicious right off the bat. As best I can describe them, they seem to be like a series of squares and random letters.(?) I have no idea what these are. I don't know if they are just harmless entries or some sort of malware programs. What do you suggest that I do ? Is it ok for me to delete these ? Thanks in advance. Here are their locations: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Windows\Run , and also SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Windows

Please run the steps in the below link and attach the requested log to your next message:

    Using GetRunKey

This is just a scan to check a variety or registry key settings. It does not change or fix anything. We are using it to determine what is actually setup in various registry keys that cause things to run on your PC.
