Sometimes, the views of my files randomly change.

I usually have it all set to "tiles" but randomly, some folders decide to show it as "Large Icons" (Thumbnails in XP). One folder is in "details" and it goes to tiles.

The other thing, Vista sometimes randomly reorganizes my files alphabetically. Such as I have a folder X, folder B, folder A, folder Y side by side. Sometimes it reoganizes it to A, B, X, Y.

It was fine at first, but since I have a lot positioned to my preferences, it gets annoying when it does that.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem so that Windows Explorer doesn't keep doing this crap all the time?

    Thanks.

Hi i too notice this problem on my Vista Ultimate OS and it is very annoying i think it has something to do with a file directory change of some kind but i have now gone back to Win xp pro MCE as i have found many problems with Vista i am going to wait for the SP2 to be release and these issues might be solved.
But i will look into that still and update on anything i find it is a strange one!

Probably have to greatly increase BagMRU settings (# of folders Vista remembers).
