My inbox folder suddenly can't be displayed in OE6, and many of the subfolders are empty. Just prior, OE6 had asked to compact messages, and in the middle of doing so, my computer suddenly rebooted.

Error message says that the inbox folder can't be displayed because of either low space or low memory, neither of which is possible. I have tried DBXtract but only managed to recover 50 messages out of hundreds.

I am running WinXP, SP2, and desperately need help. Thx.

Wait before you try this as something better might show up>

You could try doing a system restore to a recent point. That might give your files back intact.

Of more concern is why the system rebooted but sort your mail out first.
