I cannot get my keyboard to work. I cannot get into the BIOS to see if it is even finding the keyboard.

My question is, how do you replace ps/2 ports for the keyboard and mouse? Is it a difficult task to do?

Yes, you would be looking at a Motherboard replacement.

    If that is the problem.

I would do a bit more troubleshooting first. Try unplugging and plugging back in the keyboard. Try a different keyboard.

If you still have trouble...buy a USB keyboard for $15.00 and be done with it!

Also you can find a ps2 to usb adapter. It's fairly inexpensive too!
