Firefox Bookmark Problem

    I am trying to transfer my Firefox version 17.0.1 bookmarks that i backed up and put them on my new computer, the problem is the backup was not saved as a JSON or HTML file, in fact i don't know what sort of file it is save as, when i go to properties it just says "file" as type of file. Can someone help me import, i am using Windows 7 Home?

    If you give the full name and location of the file, including the extension, that will help people determine what kind of file it is.

    I did it i simply just changed the file type to JSON then did a restore, thank you!
