I have an old Gateway 200 solo (120mhz Pentium, 24MB of RAM, a 800 MB Hard drive and for some reason the battery still holds a good charge), so as you can see if is as old as sin. I could drop it into garbage can, but if I could use it for some minor programming and a few other old or light Linux functions I could spare it from the trash heap. I tried DeLi Linux but it has been acting buggy, I also tried dsl (Damn Small Linux), but had similar problems. So I am looking for a Linux distro that is both small enough to install on this laptop and if possible friendly enough that my family members can use some its more basic functions. Thank you.
