Hi everyone!

I've been a loyal MajorGeek.Com user for ages but having WiFi as of yesterday has made me a little more brazen, so I've joined this site! MG hasn't failed me yet, and I thought if I could provide what little knowledge I might have, the MG site deserves it!:-D I live in the middle of nowhere, surrounded on three sides by a state forest on a hundred acre horse ranch so I've been suffering, SUFFERING w/ dialup all this time!:cry I finally got fed up, bit the bullet and *GASP!* gave my credit card over to WiFi! Oh well, you only live once ...

Oooooooooh, and what a shiny avatar you have! I'm envious -- all I could come up w/ was my photo. But as you can see by my username, I haven't much of an imagination! I rodeo and show Palominos! :-D

wish i had horses as nice as yours. i had a tenn. walker till he passed from old age and now we have 3 more sets of hoofs to feed and care for. [along with 3 sets of paws.] the horses are just young mustang's and a little formally wild burro for my grand children to ride

a little funny about the burro, she most now think she's a dog, as when out of the barn. where ever my 2 goldens are ,so is she.

 

Welcome! This place has helped me so much, when me--or friends--have 'unsolvable' computer problems...changed my whole perspective...

...and was a bit humbling, too, as the pros on here really do know their stuff, while I just sort of bounce around throwing everything I can think of at malware and other problems...but I learned that going to the correct forum, and actually following the instructions, rather than trying to act like a fellow geek who already knew it all, was so helpful, tho a bit ego destroying for as long as I've been at this... ;-)

My mother lives with her parents STILL, lol but anyway they have horses, 3 of them, you can't ride them but they have eaten the lawn down to dirt lol. I think I'd rather have the fiberglass deer, they eat less and they don't bite!
