OK, so heres my problem, I have an ASUS mobo but it only has 2 USB headers, now I have new toys, a new case with two frontside USB ports, a new multi card reader with built in usb, my question is:
Is there a PCI card with headers?
Or can I splice a few of these wires together to make one set of headers feed three or four usb ports. Or is there another way.

I don't want to hear about
a usb hub, a new motherboard, a pci card with usb ports in the back (unless it has on board headers)

If you call a header by another name, I am refering to the pins on to which you plug your usb cable (black, red, white, green)

No idea ? I would think this would be an easy question, you mean to tell me I'm the first person to want to do this ? The other thing is a Wired hub daisy chains many devices to the same input to which conects to one point on the board, so why couldn't I splice these cables together ?

I've seen some of the posts out there and this isn't as difficult a question as some of those. I'm challenging you out there.

    LINUX sucks!
see if I can't stir you all into a frenzy.

most of the asus mobos have two existing headers for rear usb ports, as well as an additional header (or two) on the mobo itself to connect either front usb or an additional bracket mounted usb slot. check your manual and if there is one you should be able to connect it - which model asus board are you using?

I think you are confusing the question with you want a pci card with headers?, but don't want a pci card.
A header is the pins you plug the cable into. The other end of the cable is the port.
There are PCI cards that will give you 1,2,3,4 ports to plug your devices into.
There are devices, (called hubs), that you plug into an existing port that will add more ports for you to use. This is called daisy chaining. You can keep doing this for ? (I forget the max number).

The other thing is a Wired hub daisy chains many devices to the same input to which conects to one point on the board, so why couldn't I splice these cables together ? Why do you want to wire and splice when you can just plug and play?

Earp you are the man. I knew if I shook you guys up enough the ideas would flow like wine. I looked through Newegg and never saw this card. I don't think I looked closely enough because I wasn't sure it existed. As for Runner, In my original post I said no hubs, and no pci cards that didn't have more headers on it. I don't mind having the extra ports in the back but I wanted ALL of the front side ones to work, there are four and a card reader, and I had only four usb headers. Now I bought that card and I will have two extra headers incase, I have a break down and choose to add and 11 and 12 usb port.

Thanks for the help of all of those who read the original post, and understood what I needed.
