    Hello.
I have had a Gateway notebook for a few months now, my first computer.
Sometimes the monitor that tells the signal strength and such, says that it's acquiring network address. I can get online when it says that with no problem. Is this something I should be worrying about or can I just ignore it??

just means that your computer is getting an address it needs to connect to your network and get out to the internet.
