Well I have fresh install of windows vista and I keep getting BSOD. Sometime it happens when and sometimes it doesn't. I know it's a driver issue but have no idea on how to troubleshoot it myself. I have noticed this issue mainly happens when the flash player is in use. Like when I'm playing videos or playing apps on facebook.

My computer generated this Microsoft Windows error report:

Copy C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini070912-03.dmp to your Desktop, zip and attach it to a reply please.

The 0x8E is often caused by a bad driver, looking at the non-hardware drivers listed by Everest, I'd guess that PCTools was the most likely culprit. I would uninstall it completely and use MSE, at least for the duration of testing.

Uninstall Flash and install Flash 10.3 from here http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html as the new 11.3 version with it's sandbox does cause problems for some users.

Ok I have done everything you told me to do and luckily there was no BSOD, which I am kinda shocked about. Anyways I will post up the mini dump file as requested. Thank you for all of your help so far.

There were no further clues that I could see in the crash dump. Analysis becomes easier with more dumps to work with.

Assuming that all the PCT* drivers have been uninstalled, you only need to concern yourself with updating the older drivers, 2010 and earlier.

If you still get BSOD's after updating, we'll need to turn on Driver Verifier, please read these instructions very carefully, it can block Windows from loading so you need to know how to work around it should that occur (System Restore!).
