Can't access photobucket.

    Hi all. Odd problem on the wife's comp. Since yesterday, she can't get to her Photobucket account. A blank white page comes up and says done. I can access it from my comp on the same network, with the same security settings. She has run AVG and Adaware, but it hasn't helped. She is running SP2, and I am running SP1. Any thoughts or ideas would be much appreciated. thanks.

    Try some of the easier 1st steps and delete the temp internet files and cookies, does that resolve it?

    if not then try this..

    click Start > Run and type ipconfig /flushdns > ok

    what it does it to delete the DNS reslover cache which can hold some bad entries and prevent access to websites.

    I tried the cache delete, no go . Is that a space after ipconfig before the slash? It came up with a can't find error, with no space. Could this be related to a Java update? Thanks for the reply, Halo.

    yes a space after ipconfig and before the slash.



    anythings possible... was it working before the update?



    also just to test... if you have a firewall, disable it and try again, also add the photobucket url to the allowed list in IE or Firefox.. depending on browser used,

    in IE its Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Sites paste the url in and click allow.

    In Firefox its > Tools > Options > Content > Allowed Sites.



    Do you have any popup blockers installed, these can be linked in some Toolbars? again disable those and try again.
