I have about 300 files on a usb drive
I want to print out a list of those files..

    Open a command window.
Hold the Windows key + hit R - type cmd
or Win 7 start> type cmd in the search box.
In that window type the letter of the USB drive with a colon. (example "E" drive)
    e:
    the prompt will change to
    E:\>
    type dir /b >list.txt

Now from Windows Explorer open list.txt on your USB key and print it.

If you have subfolders on the drive you will need to repeat foogoo's instructions for each subfolder. Unless someone knows of software for this purpose I do not think there is any way around that.

Since he said files I didn't take in to account the might be folders...
if so try this at the command prompt (still calling it E:)
    E:\>tree /a /f >tree.txt

If you don't like the out put you can always open note and do a find and replace the odd characters & spaces to make it more 'flat'.
