To create a .exe file that works you need to use programing software.

A document is simply text in a format designed by the program that created it. For example .doc. I'm not aware of a way to convert a .doc into a .exe that will actually perform some task.

You can create .bat files which are called batch files that will call up .exe amd .com type files and perform specific tasks.
