Explorer.exe Startup Problem

    Good Day G's -

    I have a Win XP PC which has an error as it loads the user's settings. I believe it errs trying to open/execute explorer and I am left with my background picture and nothing else. Started in SAFE MODE, everything starts up and works ok. Can I use the REPAIR from the cd?
